Elusive driver for Modem part on Riptide combo card fitted to HP Pavilion machines. For the HP (Pavilion) Chameleon Card, a.k.a. Rockwell Riptide Audio & Conexant Modem.
XP is supposed to recognise this device. But doesn't always. There are riptide drivers available on the net, BUT, for some reason on some PC's running XP, all other functions install EXCEPT the modem.
I found this is a deeply hidden part of the HP web site. And after trying several downloads I got this one to work. This is the modem part of the driver.
