I tried all drivers on different sites for this damn 0726 model of US robotics and nothing worked. I built this driver by composing two files together and finally it worked. The ZIP file contains 2 folders
1. 3cp5610w
2. 3CP2977-OEM-50
When installing use 3cp5610w and then it is going to ask you to insert the Robotic CD or floppy, now use the 3CP2977-OEM-50 file and you should be able to get your damn driver installed. Do exactly as instructed. Good luck
