I got this driver from the Compaq
website. The GVC driver made
specifically for the modem would
not work, always came up as
device not found. I was working on
a 5834 Presario and I decided to try
one of the smaller of the two listed
drivers (one was 5 meg). It
Worked!! I tried all the GVC drivers
here and GVC's driver and this is
the only one that worked. My
modem had all the same numbers
too but not the Compaq # this file
referred to..... I HATE COMPAQ!!!
