It is identified by the Device Mgr as 'Compaq Presario 336-DF 56K
Upgradable.' My Modem is FCC Registration # CNTTAI-31396-M5-E.
Download CPQ336DF.ZIP to a hard drive location, C \WINDOWS\TEMP,
for example. Using a pkunzip or WinZip utility, extract 12 files
to a hard drive folder or a 1.44M floppy disk.
To install the driver in Win95/98, do NOT use the Control Panel
hardware installation wizard. Follow the instructions in the
'Readme' file or click on the 'Setup' icon. A 'CCSD' installation
program appears and installs the modem driver software.
