This is the best driver I could find to make Motorola sm56 chipset modems work properly with windowsxp without loosing the connection speed after a while
1.uninstall any previous versions of the modems
2.extract the file
3.use the drivers
4.notice that this driver is WITHOUT help files so just select cancel when it asks about these files and choose continue setup
Please send ur comments about the performance after installation
