After unzipping it into an empty directory or floppy disk, go to Control Panel, then System, and then Device Manager. If the modem is listed under 'Other devices', highlight it and then either hit Delete or the Remove button below the list. Restart and when it has been detected, refer to the location of the new drivers.
In my experience, if you have a sound card installed, use the Unimodem V drivers to solve a conflict arising between some configurations.
